Prior to showings of The Batman in movie theaters, a snippet of other DC films to come out in 2022 was shown, highlighting The Flash, Aquaman, and other anticipated projects. However, just a week after The Batman, DC’s calendar has changed yet again.
Upcoming DC movies include Black Adam and Shazam! Fury of the Gods alongside the previously mentioned Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and Ezra Miller’s The Flash, which also sees the return of Michael Keaton as Batman over 30 years after his last outing as the Dark Knight. Many of these have been pushed back with the release of Warner Bros.’ updates theatrical calendar, including year long delays for the Aquaman sequel and The Flash.
DC’s new schedule is as follows:
DC League of Super-Pets – July 29, 2022
Black Adam – October 21, 2022
Shazam! Fury of the Gods – December 12, 2022
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom – March 17, 2023
The Flash – June 23, 2023
Blue Beetle – August 18, 2023

Beyond these films, there are other DC projects in active development. Batgirl is currently filming and is set to release on HBO Max, but doesn’t yet have an official release date. Still, it was previously revealed to be coming to fans’ home screens sometime in 2022.
DC’s latest film, The Batman, is in theaters now.
