Spider-Man: No Way Home recently arrived on VOD, meaning that fans can rewatch all the iconic moments from the epic film from the comfort of their own homes. As such, the conversation surrounding the latest Marvel film has reignited in recent days, and some fans have expressed their disappointment that No Way Home wasn’t nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards, the annual ceremony that is scheduled to take place next weekend.
No Way Home’s fantastic critical and fan reception has meant that some audience members wanted the film to be nominated for the Best Picture award, but as stated, this didn’t come to fruition. Recently, star Andrew Garfield, who made his epic return to the Spider-Man character in the film, addressed No Way Home’s Oscar snub to The Telegraph:
“I mean, it’s the sixth biggest movie in the history of movies. I personally feel pretty satisfied with the audience response. I think that’s plenty.”

Garfield seems happy just to have returned to the character as his time was cut short after the poor reception to The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Despite no Best Picture nomination for No Way Home, Garfield will be in attendance at the event as he is contention for the Best Actor award for his amazing performance in Tick, Tick… Boom!.
