Rosario Dawson’s appearance in Chapter 6 of The Book of Boba Fett was one of many unexpected events in the seven-episode season that centered on Temuera Morrison’s iconic character. That Luke Skywalker, Grogu, Din Djarin, R2-D2, Cobb Vanth, Cad Bane, and Ahsoka all appeared in the same episode of Star Wars television proved to be mind-blowing for fans after its release. While Luke and Grogu were expected after Chapter 5’s ending tease, and Cad Bane reuniting with Boba in live-action was a long running fan theory, Ahsoka Tano was a character that many overlooked when discussing potential appearances in The Book of Boba Fett.
Ahsoka talked with Luke in her brief appearance in the episode, meaning that the padawan and son of Anakin Skywalker met for the first time in canon, an event that fans had wanted to see for so long. Recently, Rosario Dawson, who made her Star Wars debut in The Mandalorian: Chapter 13 – The Jedi, the episode that saw Ahsoka’s live-action debut after years in animation, took to Twitter to talk about her cameo.
Are you kidding?! I was freaking out. I’m still pinching myself that I got to work with MARK HAMILL as AHSOKA. I didn’t know my scene was with LUKE till day of…! @bobafett https://t.co/J8k84xrlur

Rosario Dawson not even being in the loop on the details of her latest Star Wars appearance is typical of Lucasfilm in recent years, as the studio has sought to keep their cards close to the best in order to surprise fans.

Mark Hamill himself responded to Dawson’s tweet in a fashion as wholesome as ever from the Star Wars legend.
The pleasure was all mine working with you, Rosario!
