Now that it’s April, fans can say that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness comes out next month. The Sam Raimi-directed film is set to release on May 6, taking the coveted early summer release date that Marvel holds for its biggest and most anticipated projects. The sequel to Scott Derrickson’s origin story film is set to introduce (or reintroduce) some recognizable faces into the MCU, such as Professor X from the Fox X-Men universe. Fan speculation is rampant as many believe that there will be even more cameos and appearances than Patrick Stewart’s triumphant return.
As Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is so close, more information has been released about the film. According to U.S. based cinema ticketing website Fandango, this Raimi film will clock in at 2 hours and 6 minutes, a runtime that some might be surprised at given the size and scope that Marvel Studios have described the project as.

Elsewhere, Marvel Studios have officially announced that tickets are set to go on sale on Wednesday, April 6. In the past, some Marvel epics have been immensely popular to the point that ticketing websites have crashes amidst the traffic caused by the amount of fans looking to secure seats, most recently with Spider-Man: No Way Home. Overall, audiences look set to come out in waves for the next Marvel film.
