Marvel Studios’ Ms. Marvel is right around two months away, and more information on the upcoming series is being released as its June 8 premiere gets nearer. The show’s first trailer was released last month, giving fans their first true look at Kamala Khan’s MCU debut. Khan is played by Iman Vellani in what is her first major acting role to date, and is joined by Alysia Reiner, Matt Lintz, Anjali Bhiman, and more.
Now, the official rating for the series has been revealed. Ms. Marvel has been labeled as PG, a first for the MCU as every previous project has been PG-13 or TV-14 (the television equivalent). The footage shown so far appears to be a light hearted affair starring a young woman in her teenage years as she navigates her youth and her new powers, so it makes sense that the rating matched the age of Ms. Marvel as a character.

Recently, there was a new TV spot for Ms. Marvel, highlighting Vellani’s character once again and showing her affinity for Captain Marvel, as well as her newfound superpowers. Vellani is set to reprise her role in The Marvels, where she will combine with Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers.
