By Josh Bate

There are a vast number of Star Wars titles set to arrive this year. The Book of Boba Fett was the first of these projects, all of which will debut on Disney+. Next up is Obi-Wan Kenobi, arguably the most anticipated upcoming series as Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen make their long awaited return to the franchise. The Bad Batch will also arrive at some point for season 2, and Andor will debut its first season. Although there has been no official confirmation, rumors have intensified that The Mandalorian season 3 will also release later this year as well.

Now, another title looks set to be added to the mix, further confirming that 2022 will be a year to remember for Star Wars fans. According to Cinelinx, Star Wars Visions season 2 is in active development and is set to release later this year, most likely in the fall.

Cinelinx add that there are some new studios coming in to work on the series, but there will also be some returning creators as well. There are expected to be follow ups to certain season one episodes as well, according to the website.

Visions was a truly unique Star Wars series that saw various studios stamp their vision on this iconic franchise, and generated some beloved moments for fans. Each outing was different and unique, not only in terms of its story and setting but the animation style as well. Although most tended to be relatively short in length, the epic nature of some of the episodes proved to feel like watching a Star Wars movie or intense outing of a show.
