Star Wars: Every Inquisitor Confirmed To Be In Obi-Wan Kenobi

By Josh Bate

Obi-Wan Kenobi officially arrives on audience’s screens next month as the first two episodes are set to debut on Disney+ on May 27, a date which sees the series land during the Star Wars Celebration fan event in Anaheim, California.

The first trailer gave fans the first look at the upcoming show and Ewan McGregor’s return to the franchise, as well as a brief glimpse at a young version of Luke Skywalker. Obi-Wan remained (almost) exclusively on Tatooine to watch over and protect Luke in a quest that began in the final moments of Revenge of the Sith.

Obi-Wan Kenobi’s trailer also showed several Inquisitors that will appear, most notably Reva, a new villain introduced for the first time in the upcoming series. However, the trailer also highlighted some recognizable antagonists that are making the jump to live action. Here is every Inquisitor confirmed to be in Obi-Wan Kenobi.

REVA

As stated, Reva is a new character created for Obi-Wan Kenobi. Played by Moses Ingram, who had memorable roles in The Queen’s Gambit and Ambulance, Reva seems to have a name inspired by Revan, the famous Star Wars character in many legends material primarily. Reva has been described as one of the core villains of the series, which makes sense given that some of the other antagonists are known to live beyond the events of the series, meaning that Ingram’s character has more stakes in that audiences don’t know her fate.

THE GRAND INQUISITOR

The Grand Inquisitor is played by Rupert Friend in Obi-Wan Kenobi, but was voiced by Jason Isaacs in Star Wars Rebels, which was the first appearance of the character. A former Jedi Temple guard, the Grand Inquisitor remains as threatening as ever in the first trailer.

FIFTH BROTHER

Like the previous character, Fifth Brother appeared in Star Wars Rebels and plagued the Ghost crew and, in particular, Jedi Kanan and Ezra as they hunted the remaining warriors who survived Order 66 and the purge. Fifth Brother is played by Sung Kang in live action, and fans can get a brief glimpse at the character in the trailer.

UNKNOWN INQUISITOR

There is one other Inquisitor who appears in the trailer, but has not been fully revealed yet. More information should be known in this villain once the series debuts.

Obi-Wan Kenobi premieres May 27 on Disney+.
