Star Wars Celebration’s Mandalorian Experience Allows Fans To Get Up Close and Personal With Screen-Used Props, Costumes, Prosthetics, Droids, Ships, and More

By George Bate, Josh Bate, and Julie Catherine

The Mandalorian Experience was a surprise announcement during Thursday’s Lucasfilm Studio Showcase at Star Wars Celebration and has quickly become one of our favorite parts of the event. The exhibit celebrates The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett by allowing fans to see real, screen-used props, costumes, miniatures, prosthetics, vehicles, and more up close in person. Dave Filoni warned the Celebration crowd not to touch anything as much of it needs to loaded on trucks and driven back to set to be used in future Star Wars projects. It’s impossible to grasp the level of detail and scale involved in the exhibit without experiencing it in person, but below is a full gallery of everything on display in The Mandalorian Experience.

Q9-0 and bounties frozen in carbonate used to film The Mandalorian
A Death Trooper used to film the finale of The Mandalorian Season 2
Screen-worn Cad Bane costume
Max Rebo!
The Mayor of Mos Espa
The BD droid used in The Book of Boba Fett
Cobb Vanth and his speeder
Peli Motto’s costume, R5-D4, and the Naboo Starfighter with Grogu
Stunning life-sized Rancor head

The Mandalorian Experience was jaw-dropping to say the least. Immersive doesn’t begin to describe what it was like to be in and around real, screen-used props, costumes, models, and more. Being a Star Wars fan is terrific.
