Exploring the origins of Rey’s parents, diving into Qi’ra’s plans for galactic domination, and a much anticipated reunion between Obi-Wan and Anakin make this month a sure-fire hit for Star Wars fans. Below includes a list and description of upcoming Star Wars projects in the month of June. It is important to note all of these release dates are subject to change.
June 1 – Bounty Hunters 23
Follow Dengar and company in the newest issue of Ethan Sacks’ Bounty Hunters. The publisher’s summary is as follows: “A CLEAR AND PRESENT DENGAR The most underestimated bounty hunter in the galaxy in his greatest adventure yet! June 1 – Darth Vader (2020) 23
Greg Pak’s impressive Darth Vader run, which features the character’s journey with Padme’s handmaiden Sabe, continues this month. The publisher’s summary for the 23rd issue is as follows: “THE SHADOW’S SHADOW’S SHADOW. June 1 – Part III of Obi-Wan Kenobi
After a stunning two-part premiere, Obi-Wan Kenobi’s third chapter debuts at the top of the month.
June 7 – Stories of Jedi and Sith
A collection of short stories featuring some of the most iconic Jedi and Sith in the galaxy releases this month. The new issue of Star Wars Insider features a look back at the adventures of Obi-Wan Kenobi and an interview with set decorator Roger Christian on his work on the original Star Wars.
June 7 – Star Wars Vol. 4: Crimson Reign
A trade paperback collection of issues 19-23 of Charles Soule’s Star Wars series releases this month.
June 7 – LEGO Star Wars Awesome Vehicles
A new reference book written by Simon Hugo focuses on the starships and other vehicles from the Star Wars franchise in LEGO format.
June 8 – Krrsantan: Star Wars Tales 1
After his live-action debut in The Book of Boba Fett, the infamous Wookiee bounty hunter leads a one-shot comic by Jason Aaron and Kieron Gillen. June 14 – Star Wars: The Mandalorian: Guide to Season Two
The making of The Mandalorian Season 2 is detailed in this exciting new collector’s book. This new reference book features painted stormtrooper helmets from the 2014 art installation.
June 21 – Star Wars: Doctor Aphra Vol. 4 — Crimson Reign
A new paperback collection compiles issues 16-20 of Alyssa Wong’s Doctor Aphra series.
June 21 – The Mandalorian: Grogu’s Journey
A new children’s storybook by Grace Baranowski adapting seasons 1 and 2 of The Mandalorian releases this month.
June 22 – Crimson Reign 5
The upcoming fifth and final issue of Charles Soule’s Crimson Reign debuts this month. June 28 – Shadow of the Sith
The highly anticipated novel from Christopher Adam makes its debut this month.
