Summer may be coming to an end, but a new adventure in a galaxy far, far away is just beginning. This month sees the debut of the highly anticipated Andor series on Disney+, a prequel series following Cassian Andor before his heroic sacrifice in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Andor has company in the month of August with a range of books, comics, and more to look forward to. Below includes a list and description of upcoming Star Wars projects in the month of August. It is important to note all of these release dates are subject to change.
August 2 – Star Wars Insider 212

Featuring a look ahead at Andor and interviews with Adam Christopher (author of Shadow of the Sith) and more, Star Wars Insider 212 has something for everyone. Check out an exclusive preview here.
August 2 – Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter as part of The Essential Legends Collection

Michael Reaves’ precursor to The Phantom Menace is given new life in Del Rey’s Essential Legends Collection.
August 2 – Death Troopers as part of The Essential Legends Collection

One of the scariest Star Wars books to date, Death Troopers is also re-released as part of Del Rey’s Essential Legends Collection.
August 2 – X-Wing: The Krytos Trap as part of The Essential Legends Collection

The third installment of Michael A. Stackpole’s X-Wing series rounds out August’s Essential Legends Collection releases.
August 3 – Halcyon Legacy 5
The publisher’s summary for the fifth and final issue in Ethan Sacks’ series is as follows: “”LAST STAND ON THE HALCYON” Star-crossed lovers who crossed the wrong syndicate try to escape on the Halcyon. August 5 – LEGO Star Wars: Summer Vacation

Rounding out a trilogy of LEGO Star Wars films to debut on Disney+, the Star Wars family heads to the beach in this newest special.
August 8 – Star Wars Day-at-a-Time Calendar 2023
This new calendar features facts about characters, creatures, vehicles, droids, locations, and technology from the entire film series.
August 9 – Star Wars Legends Epic Collection: The Clone Wars Vol. 4

August 10 – Bounty Hunters 26
Dive further into the criminal underworld with the latest issue of Ethan Sacks’ comic series. Catch up with the Star Wars mainline series in the newest issue.
