Warner Bros. Discovery and DC Films seem to have found their equivalent of Kevin Feige.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Dan Lin is in talks to takeover as chief of DC films and television. Lin has an accomplished filmography under his belt, with executive producer credits on the It films, The LEGO Batman Movie, and Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
Meanwhile, current leader of DC Films Walter Hamada will leave the role. Hamada will reportedly stay in charge to oversee the release of Black Adam this October before transitioning out of the role.
The future of DC films and television remains ambiguous to say the least following the shocking cancellation of Batgirl. That news sent shockwaves through the film industry and marks a major transition in the development of DC projects moving forward.
