She-Hulk: Attorney At Law has been filled to the brim with clever easter eggs and fourth-wall breaking quips, but its latest meta-reference may be its best yet.
Episode 3 of the new Marvel Studios series, titled The People vs. Emil Blonsky, features a sequence showing a series of fictional tweets speaking out against the existence of a female superhero like Jennifer Walters.
Each of the messages shown convey hateful messages that disturbingly mirror the ludicrous M-She-U controversy in which select “fans” claim the Marvel franchise features too many female characters.

Highlighting how the barrage of hateful social media posts She-Hulk faces mirror those seen in real life, several of the tweets shown in the series are almost identical to real life, hateful tweets.

She-Hulk: Attorney At Law continues to tell a different sort of story in the MCU, with its fourth-wall breaking, meta awareness affording plenty of opportunities to cleverly poke fun.
New episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law stream Thursdays on Disney+.
