Dwayne Johnson arrived to SoFi Stadium for the Los Angeles Rams and Buffalo Bills game and brought with him a new trailer for Black Adam. The latest DC film is set to be released on October 21st and, as such, Johnson and Warner Bros. are stepping up promotional efforts.
Black Adam will mark the first DC film to be released following the controversial cancellation of Batgirl early this year, which sent shockwaves through the film industry. The future of DC on the big screen still remains a mystery, but Black Adam may give a hint as to what to expect from the branch of Warner Bros. following a change in the hierarchy.
Black Adam stars Johnson as the titular superhero and marks the culmination of over 10 years of efforts to adapt the DC supervillain to the big screen. Johnson is accompanied by an array of other superheroes, including Aldis Hodge’s Hawkman, Noah Centineo’s Atom Smasher, and Pierce Brosnan’s Doctor Fate.
