Welcome in the summer with a host of new Star Wars stories! Below includes a list and description of upcoming Star Wars projects in the month of June. It is important to note all of these release dates are subject to change
June 6 – Star Wars Insider 219
This latest issue of Star Wars Insider includes a new High Republic short story, an interview with The High Republic: Convergence author Zoraida Cordova, and a behind the scenes look at The Bad Batch Season 2.
June 6 – Star Wars: Han Solo & Chewbacca Vol. 2 — The Crystal Run Part Two
This paperback collection compiles issues 6-10 of Marc Guggenheim’s Han and Chewie comic series.
June 7 – Return of the Jedi – The Empire 1
Celebrate the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi with this new one-shot from writer Jody Houser and illustrator Jethro Morales. The publisher’s summary is as follows: “WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF THE EMPIRE TOOK OVER? As operations begin to take shape on the moon of ENDOR, a technician must figure out how to live under the control of THE EMPIRE. Charles Soule’s mainline series continues with issue 35, featuring amazing cover art by Stephen Segovia. The publisher’s summary for this latest issue is as follows: “LUKE SKYWALKER…IN THE CLUTCHES OF DR. CUATA! The would-be JEDI’S LIGHTSABER is all but destroyed! Enter KYBER CRYSTAL expert DR. CUATA! June 7 – Yoda 8
Anakin and Yoda team up in this new comic from Marc Guggenheim. The publisher’s summary is as follows: “MASTER AND APPRENTICE! The SEPARATIST army has a new super-weapon: THE MEGADROID. But can YODA and ANAKIN SKYWALKER destroy an entire factory full of them? The events of this issue directly overlap with STAR WARS: REVELATIONS! See how IT’S ALL CONNECTED!”
June 14 – Darth Vader 35
Darth Vader and Doctor Aphra’s paths cross once again in the latest issue of Greg Pak’s thrilling comic series. The publisher’s summary is as follows: “VADER UNBOUND! The DARK LORD OF THE SITH has called upon the galaxy’s greatest archaeologist, DOCTOR APHRA, for help. He’s lost control of THE FORCE, and only APHRA knows what can tame his path of destruction…But will an archaic KYBERITE weapon only lead to more devastation?”
June 14 – Sana Starros 5
Justina Ireland continues her Sana Starros solo series with the fifth issue this month. The publisher’s summary is as follows: “THE STARROS FAMILY INFILTRATES AN IMPERIAL DESTROYER. We can’t get enough of Ethan Sacks’ fantastic Bounty Hunters series. The publisher’s summary for the upcoming 35th issue is as follows: “NEW ERA FOR THE BOUNTY HUNTERS! June 21 – The Mandalorian Season 2 1
Rodney Barnes’ Mandalorian comic continues, now adapting the second season of the hit series.
June 27 – Star Wars: Darth Vader Vol. 6 – Return of the Handmaidens
This new paperback collects issues 28-32 of Greg Pak’s comic series.
June 27 – Star Wars: The High Republic – The Blade
Explore the origins of Porter Engle in Charles Soule’s comic miniseries. June 28 – Darth Vader – Black, White & Red 3
Jason Aaron, Daniel Warren Johnson, and Marc Bernardin pen the third issue of this Darth Vader anthology miniseries featuring illustrations by Leonard Kirk, Daniel Warren Johnson, and more.
June 28 – Doctor Aphra 33
Alyssa Wong’s Doctor Aphra comic series continues to amaze. The publisher’s summary for the upcoming 33rd issue is as follows: “LUKE SKYWALKER! A LOST JEDI TEMPLE! AND A GRAVE MISCALCULATION! APHRA has convinced LUKE that she can help him find long-lost secrets of THE JEDI! But she has other plans for him that include……DARTH VADER!!!”

Three issues of Daniel Jose Older’s High Republic Adventures series are set to debut at the end of June, although these release dates are likely to change.
