Barnaby Clay has directed award winning music videos for the likes of Rihanna, TV on the Radio, and Gnarls Barkley, but The Seeding is his first step into something decidedly darker. The new horror film, which premiered at Tribeca Festival, is a dark and contemplative horror film about a man whose act of Good Samaritanism leads to him being trapped in a pit by a gang of menacing children.
The HoloFiles recently spoke with writer/director Barnaby Clay about The Seeding, its 1970s horror influences, working with actor Scott Haze, making his first narrative feature, and more. Check out the interview below:
