Obi-Wan Kenobi featured many touching moments, but one of the most heartbreaking involved the title character walking through a tomb of Jedi in Fortress Inquisitorius. The scene in Part IV shocked fans as it showed that the Inquisitors, the dark side Jedi hunters for the Galactic Empire, kept trophies of some of the Jedi they killed. Now, following Lucasfilm Publishing’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con, more details have been revealed about the Jedi entombed in Fortress Inquisitorius.
One of the many books spotlighted at Lucasfilm Publishing’s panel was Star Wars: Dawn of the Rebellion – The Visual Guide, an upcoming reference book shedding light on Obi-Wan Kenobi, Andor, and The Bad Batch. A preview of the book was shown at the panel, which revealed details about the Jedi tomb.
The book confirms that one of the Jedi seen in the tomb is Tera Sinube, the Jedi Master who first appeared in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Around since the High Republic era, Sinube engaged in various adventures during the Clone Wars, including helping Ahsoka Tano recover her stolen lightsaber from a thief.

Also encased in the tomb is a Jedi named Velerie Tide. Tide has not previously featured in other Star Wars stories, but the reference book provides some insight into her character. According to the book, Tide survived Order 66 and hid during the Great Jedi Purge with locals on the planet Athio III. Athio III has also not shown up in canon before, although it shares a name similar to the planet Althir III. Althir III was a planet first referenced in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and made its debut in Star Wars: The Old Republic. Whether Athio III and Althir III are the same remains unclear. Eventually, on Athio III, Tide was captured by the Empire after being revealed as a Force user.

The final Jedi revealed in the tomb is a youngling named Faris. The Jedi is seen wearing a training helmet worn by younglings, as seen in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. Further details about this character remain a mystery.
