On May 25, 1983, Return of the Jedi hit theaters and confirmed to audiences what many already knew – Star Wars is the greatest movie franchise of all time. Forty years later and Return of the Jedi is still looked upon as an epic conclusion to the original trilogy. In honor of this 40th anniversary, Random House Worlds have prepared the release of Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View: Return of the Jedi. The new anthology book features 40 stories from 40 authors, who re-create iconic scenes from Return of the Jedi through the perspective of a supporting character.

Today, Random House Worlds and Del Rey have revealed details about each story in the upcoming anthology, including each story’s main character, author, and a brief description. Check out a full breakdown of the 40 stories from Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View: Return of the Jedi below:

1. “Any Work Worth Doing” by Amal El-Mohtar. This short story will focus on Moff Jerjerrod.

2. “Fancy Man” by Phil Szostak. This short story will focus on Max Rebo.

3. “The Key to Remembering” by Olivia Chadha. This short story will focus on EV-9D9.

4. “Fortuna Favors the Bold” by Kwame Mbalia. This short story focuses on Bib Fortuna.

5. “Dune Sea Songs of Salt and Moonlight” by Thea Guanzon. It is unclear who this short story will focus on.

6. “The Plan” by Saladin Ahmed. This short story will focus on Malakili and his Rancor.

7. “Reputation” by Tara Sim. This short story will focus on Boba Fett.

8. “Kickback” by K Arsenault Rivera. This short story will focus on Sion.

9. “Everyone’s a Critic” by Sarah Glenn Marsh. This short story will focus on Salacious B. Crumb.

10. “Satisfaction” by Kristin Baver. The short story will focus on Sy Snootles.

11. “My Mouth Never Closes” by Charlie Jane Anders. This short story will focus on the Sarlacc.

12. “Kernels and Husks” by Jason Fry. This short story will focus on Sim Aloo.

13. “The Light that Falls” by Akemi Dawn Bowman. This short story will focus on Bright-Eyes.
