With the highly anticipated Ahsoka series just around the corner, Disney and Lucasfilm have revealed a look at the show. Take a look at the latest trailer and see our breakdown of the new footage below.
Ray Stevenson’s Baylan Skoll opens the trailer by saying, “There’s so few Jedi left.” If we do a quick head count of Jedi alive in canon at this time, there is Ahsoka Tano, Luke Skywalker, Grogu (if he counts as a Jedi), and (maybe) Ezra Bridger.

The footage reveals a better look at the Inquisitor Marrok, seen below. His identity still remains a mystery, with some fans speculating this may be a brainwashed or clone version of Ezra.

Much of the trailer is alternate footage of scenes shown in previous trailers. The shot below shows Baylan Skoll with a platoon of HK-87 Assassin Droids. These droids appeared in The Mandalorian episode ‘Chapter 13: The Jedi’ and drawn inspiration from the HK-series of droids from Knights of the Old Republic.

Huyang, who made his debut in The Clone Wars, is shown again in this trailer. The droid character is voiced by Doctor Who star David Tennant.

Eagle-eyed viewers may spot a little passenger next to Hera Syndulla on the Ghost. Could this be Hera Syndulla and Kanan Jarus’ son Jacen, who first appeared in the series finale of Star Wars Rebels? The character’s appearance in Ahsoka has already been teased in a LEGO set, and it makes sense that Jacen (likely featuring a slight re-design to make him less creepy) will show up.

Sabine Wren can be seen wielding Ezra Bridger’s lightsaber from Star Wars Rebels again.

Chopper! Everyone’s favorite grumpy droid is featured again in this new footage. From the early looks of the character in live-action, they seem to have nailed the design of the Rebels character.

More of Sabine’s duel with Ivanna Sakhno’s Shin Hati is shown.

Stay tuned to The HoloFiles and Star Wars Holocron for continued coverage of Ahsoka. Check out our five predictions for this series below:
