Fans have long speculated what came of Barriss Offee since she last made an appearance 11 years. The surprise announcement of Tales of the Empire, a new animated series premiering May 4 on Disney+, answered long-standing questions about Barriss Offee in confirming that the character’s journey would continue.

The Clone Wars – Season 2, Episode 6: Weapons Factory
Barriss Offee plays a role in the Geonosis arc of The Clone Wars. The episode “Weapons Factory” follows Barriss’ master Luminara Unduli and Anakin Skywalker act as decoys while Barriss joins forces with Ahsoka to destroy a Separatist droid factory.
The Clone Wars – Season 2, Episode 7: Legacy of Terror
The chronological next episode sees the continuation of the Geonosis arc. In this episode, Barriss’ master Luminara goes missing and the Jedi try to find her.
The Clone Wars: Season 2, Episode 8: Brain Invaders
The conclusion of the five-part Geonosis arc (and the third episode to feature Barriss Offee), “Brain Invaders” sees Ahsoka and Barriss team up to try and prevent the spread of Geonosian brain worms to the galaxy.
The Clone Wars: Season 5, Episode 17: Sabotage
“Sabotage” kicks off arguably the best arc in the entirety of The Clone Wars. Given Barriss’ integral role in this arc, “Sabotage” and the following episodes on this watch guide are must-sees ahead of Tales of the Empire. This first episode of the four-part arc follows Anakin and Ahsoka as they investigate a bombing at the Jedi Temple.

If you watch one episode prior to continuing Barriss Offee’s journey in Tales of the Empire, it has to be “The Wrong Jedi.” This episode sees Ahsoka on trial for murder and gives incredible depth to Barriss Offee’s character.
