The highly anticipated trailer for the second and final season of Star Wars: Andor has officially released! Watch the trailer below….
The trailer is stunning to say the least and teases that, much like the first season, we’re in store for a prestige television drama set in a galaxy far, far away.
Here are some new looks at returning characters from Andor Season 1…..
First up is the titular character – Cassian Andor. Diego Luna reprises his role from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and features heavily in this trailer for Andor Season 2. Here are are some shots of him from the trailer….
K-2SO also returns in Andor Season 2. The sassy droid played by Alan Tudyk was absent in Season 1, but, given his sizable role in Rogue One, is featuring in this sophomore season.
Also returning is fan favorite Brasso! Check him out (with a beard!) below….
Ben Mendelsohn returns as Director Orson Krennic in Andor Season 2.
Forest Whitaker has played Saw Gerrera in Rebels, Rogue One, and Andor Season 1. Now, he’s back in the final season of Andor.
Arguably the standout performance from Season 1 came from Stellan Skarsgård, who played Luthen Rael. Here is the sole shot of him from the Season 2 trailer.
Kyle Soller’s Syril Karn is also back in Season 2.
Genevieve O’Reilly earned widespread acclaim for her turn as Mon Mothma in Andor Season 1, having previously played the character in Rogue One, Rebels, and a deleted scene of Revenge of the Sith. Here she is in Andor Season 2. She also dances in the trailer!
Denise Gough reprises her role as ISB agent Dedro Meero in Andor Season 2.
In one of the trailer’s coolest moments, Cassian is accompanied by Adria Arjona’s Bix Calleen as they walk away from an explosion.
