‘Andor’ Wins 4 Emmys on First Night of Awards

On the first night of this year’s Creative Arts Emmys, Andor came away with 4 wins. Before the main event on September 14, the Emmys honors television’s top artistic and technical achievements with a two-day event on September 6-7.

During the ceremony, Andor won the following Emmys…

  • Best Production Design for a Narrative Period or Fantasy Program
  • Best Fantasy / Sci-Fi Costumes
  • Best Editing for a Drama Series – “Who Are You”
  • Best Visual Effects

Andor was nominated, but did not win, in the following categories….

  • Best Guest Actor in a Drama Series – Forest Whitaker
  • Best Music Composition – Nicholas Britell
  • Best Cinematography
  • Best Original Music & Lyrics – “We Are the Ghor”
  • Best Sound Mixing
  • Besr Character Voiceover – Alan Tudyk as K-2SO

The Acolyte was also nominated for Best Sound Editing but lost to Apple TV’s The Studio.
