What’s New in Star Wars – March 2026

Maul – Shadow Lord may be a month away, but that doesn’t mean that Star Wars fans have to keep waiting for more Maul. This March sees the debut of a brand new comic that serves as a prequel to the new Disney+ series, in addition to a General Grievous graphic novel and more from Clone Force 99, Kylo Ren, Poe Dameron, and more.

Below includes a list and descriptions of every upcoming Star Wars project releasing in March 2026. It is important to note that all of these release dates are subject to change.

March 4 – Hyperspace Stories: The Bad Batch—Rogue Agents

The second issue of Dark Horse Comics’ new comic miniseries written by Michael Moreci and illustrated by Reese Hannigan, Elisabetta D’Amico, and Michael Atiyeh hits comic stores this month.

The publisher’s summary is as follows: “The race is on to find the missing Separatist scientist and his doomsday device! But with their newfound adversary in the lead, the Bad Batch must turn to an old friend for help, finding themselves involved in an underworld shootout as a result! With friends like these, who needs enemies?”

March 4 – Shadow of Maul

The first issue of the highly anticipated Maul – Shadow Lord prequel comic debuts this month, written by Benjamin Percy and illustrated by Madibek Musabekov.

The publisher’s summary is as follows: “A PULPY, EXCITING PREQUEL SERIES SET BEFORE THE EVENTS OF THE UPCOMING DISNEY+ SHOW! Welcome to Janix, a neon-lit, shadow-soaked maze of a planet that lies beyond the reach of the Empire. Captain Brander Lawson is doing his best to navigate the law in a lawless territory. March 12 – Poe and the Missing Ship audiobook

This Audible exclusive written by Michael Siglain showcases another adventure with Poe Dameron and BB-8.

The publisher’s summary is as follows: “When Poe Dameron and his faithful droid discover that the First Order has captured a civilian ship, their lives are turned upside down!”

March 17 – Hyperspace Stories: Grievous 

Michael Moreci pens and and Caio Filipe illustrates this brand new graphic novel about General Grievous.

The publisher’s summary is as follows: “Count Dooku has sent General Grievous to conquer the jungle planet of Katou. It’s an opportunity to prove Grievous’ worth to his Sith masters. March 17 – Star Wars Legends: The Empire Omnibus Vol. 4 

Marvel Comics will publish an Omnibus of comics originally published in The Empire Vol. 7, Vol. 8, and Infinites this month.

March 24 – Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories—Codebreaker (trade paperback) 

All four issues of Ethan Sacks’ Poe Dameron comic miniseries are collected in this new trade paperback.

The publisher’s summary is as follows: “Celebrate the 10th anniversary of Star Wars: The Force Awakens with this action-packed, all-ages adventure starring Poe Dameron and BB-8!

March 24 – Star Wars: Tales From the Nightlands (hardcover) 

All three issues of Dark Horse Comics’ new horror Star Wars series are compiled in a new trade paperback releasing this month.

March 25 – The High Republic Adventures – Pathfinders

The High Republic officially returns this month!

The publisher’s summary for the first issue of a new High Republic comic series is as follows: “Twenty years after Phase II of the High Republic, a brand-new team of Republic Pathfinders is dispatched to a distant corner of the galaxy to investigate the strange death of a Jedi Master! March 31 – Star Wars: Legacy of Vader – The Reign of Kylo Ren Vol. 2

Read the second half of Charles Soule’s acclaimed Kylo Ren comic series in this new trade paperback.
