This means that Daniels is still the only actor to feature in every single theatrical Star Wars movie.

Luke Skywalker and R2-D2????

The Mandalorian and Grogu cameos

These cameos are far from confirmed, so take all of the following with a grain of salt.

An eagle-eyed Star Wars fan speculated that, in the film’s opening credits, on Adelphi Base, an R2 unit can be seen being lowered into an X-Wing. This fan questions if this is R2-D2 and the pilot of the X-Wing is Luke Skywalker.

While narratively Luke is probably off building his new Jedi Order, it wouldn’t be implausible for him to visit Adelphi Base and work with the New Republic, especially as they both have a mutual interest in preventing the Empire from rising to power again.

The Mandalorian and Grogu is now in theaters
