The trailer reveals a new look at the game, which is set during the Clone Wars. Anakin Skywalker features in the trailer, as does an unknown dark side individual wielding a red lightsaber. Could this be Asajj Ventress? Or maybe Count Dooku?

The story follows ex-Galactic Republic officer Tesh Hawks, who leads a group of misfits hired by the Republic to track down a volatile Separatist splinter function. Among the members of Hawks’ crew include a Mandalorian and a Jedi Padawan.

Zero Company will feature more than 150 planets from the Star Wars galaxy.

One of the developers of Zero Company is Bit Reactor, a studio comprised of developers who worked on XCOM and Civilization. The game has already been compared to XCOM, with some even referring to it as XCOM Star Wars.

Star Wars: Zero Company launches August 27, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
