As temperatures surge around the globe, cool off with tons of cool new Star Wars stories arriving this July.
Below includes a list and descriptions of every upcoming Star Wars project releasing in July 2026. It is important to note that all of these release dates are subject to change.
July 1 – Rogue One – Saw Gerrera 1
The 10th year anniversary celebration of Rogue One continues with the publication of a new Saw Gerrera one-shot comic written by Marc Bernadin with art by Gabriel Guzman.
The publisher’s summary is as follows: “WITNESS THE ACT OF REVOLUTION THAT WAS TOO MUCH FOR THE REBELLION!
After proving himself in the Clone Wars, Saw Gerrera was a soldier for the cause of freedom and was willing to do anything to secure it — including leading a mission deep into Imperial territory. July 7 – Star Wars Insider: The High Republic: Survivors of the Stormwall
A hardcover collection of Star Wars: The High Republic stories from the pages of Star Wars Insider, written by Lydia Kang and award-winning author Alyssa Wong and with illustrations by Star Wars creature concept designer Jake Lunt Davies, arrives this month.
This collection features 11 short stories set during Phase III of The High Republic, chronicling the ongoing battle against the Nihil centuries prior to the Star Wars prequel trilogy.
The publisher’s summary is as follows: “Following the destruction of Starlight Beacon and the expansion of Marchion Ro’s galaxy-splitting Stormwall, the crew of the Aurie, a lone Republic Longbeam, find themselves lost in the Occlusion Zone. July 8 – The High Republic Adventures – Pathfinders 3
The third issue of the comic book series Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures – Pathfinders debuts this month. The issue is written by George Mann, illustrated by Partha Pratim, Jagdish Kumar, and Michael Atiyeh, and published by Dark Horse Comics.
The publisher’s summary is as follows: “The Pathfinder team traces the origins of a wrecked EX droid to the frozen planet Bathoris. There, they discover an isolated Comms team has been mysteriously murdered! Can the Pathfinders sift through the suspects in time? To uncover the truth, they might just need some help from another fan-favorite High Republic hero!

July 8 – Shadow of Maul 5
The issue will be Making the wait for Season 2 of Maul – Shadow Lord a tad easier is the newest issue of the Shadow of Maul prequel comic written by Benjamin Percy, illustrated by Madibek Musabekov, and published by Marvel Comics.

July 14 – Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures — The Complete Phase III Part 2
This new comic collection compiles the following comics: The High Republic Adventures (2023) #11–#20, The High Republic Adventures – Echoes of Fear #1–#4, The High Republic Adventures – Dispatches from the Occlusion Zone #1–#4, The High Republic Adventures Phase III Annual #1, The High Republic Adventures Phase III – The Wedding Spectacular #1, and The High Republic Adventures Phase III – The Battle of Eriadu #1.

July 14 – Star Wars: Visions: Tsukumo
A manga written by Eiichi Shimizu, illustrated by Tomohiro Shimoguchi, and published by Viz Media expanding the world of Star Wars Visions arrives this month.
July 15 – Galaxy’s Edge – Echoes of the Empire 4
The reworking of Galaxy’s Edge continues this month with another issue of the Marvel Comics series.
The publisher’s summary is as follows; “HAN SOLO & CHEWIE IN THE CROSSHAIRS! Clone Force 99 return in a new comic written by Michael Moreci, illustrated by Reese Hannigan, Elisabetta D’Amico, and Michael Atiyeh, and published by Dark Horse Comics.

July 21 – Eyes Like Stars
A new Star Wars YA romance novel from author Ashley Poston arrives this month.

July 21 – Star Wars Modern Era Epic Collection: The Screaming Citadel

July 23 – Mission Stories: Han & Chewie audiobook
The audio version of the canon book of Cavan Scott’s Han and Chewie story debuts this month. This is an unabridged audiobook adaptation read by Ron Butler and is set to be released exclusively from Audible as part of their Star Wars Audio Adventures series.
July 24 – The Mandalorian and Grogu: Danger in the Dark
The first ever original Mandalorian and Grogu comic is available this month.

July 28 – Legacy
Our most anticipated Star Wars released of July comes in the form of a new novel by author Madeleine Roux focusing on Rey and LEia’s relationship.
