Ahead of its highly anticipated launch on September 22, The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art has officially announced a neat initiative that will enable thousands of people to visit George Lucas’ landmark museum for free.

The website for The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art includes information on the LM37 pass, which will allow all residents in Los Angeles’ 90037 zip code to visit the museum for free and bring a guest along throughout the year.

More information about the LM37 can be found below:

“The LM37 pass is a free admission program created for residents of the 90037 zip code, home to the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art.

Museum founders George Lucas and Mellody Hobson have long envisioned the Lucas Museum as a place where neighbors feel welcome and connected through art, storytelling, learning, and shared experiences. The LM37 pass reflects that commitment by providing local residents with free access to the museum.

LM37 pass holders can reserve admission for themselves and one guest, making it easy to return and enjoy exhibitions, programs, gardens, and public spaces throughout the year.

If you live in the 90037 zip code, sign up below to be notified when registration for the LM37 pass opens in August. We look forward to welcoming you to the Lucas Museum!”

Ahead of the September 22 opening, Keke Palmer will moderate a “Inside the Lucas Museum of Narrative” panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday July 23. The panel will include a sneak peek of the museum and its film programming and will see Palmer ask questions of Seth Green and Matt Senreich of Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, Jim Lee, President and Chief Creative Officer of DC Comics, and Ryan Linkof, Senior Curator and Head of Film Programs for the Lucas Museum.

In the SDCC exhibit fall, fans can get their hands on the first merchandise for The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art.
