Disney+ is the way on September 2 as three separate The Mandalorian projects debut on the streaming service.
Din Djarin and Grogu are two of the most popular modern Star Wars characters and, after recently making their big screen debut in May, will return to their original home – Disney+ – with three exciting releases.
The Mandalorian and Grogu – IMAX Enhanced
One of these projects is Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, Jon Favreau’s feature film that hit theaters back in May.
The latest Star Wars movie will make its streaming premiere on September 2 exclusively on Disney+ and is available to stream in IMAX Enhanced, which includes IMAX’s exclusive expanded aspect ratio.
Disney+ subscribers with certified TVs and AV receivers can also experience the film with IMAX Enhanced sound, powered by DTS:X.
The Mandalorian and Grogu Official Podcast
Also premiering on Disney+ on September 2 is Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu Official Podcast, which will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the movie. The podcast goes live at 9pm ET / 6pm Pt with episodes, “Growing Up” and “Bigger & Different.” This marks the first official Star Wars podcast commissioned by Disney and Lucasfilm.
The podcast will feature behind-the-scenes stories, cast and crew interviews, set secrets, creative insights into the production, and more.

LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian
The galaxy’s favorite father and son duo star in a new LEGO special debuting September 2 on Disney+. The story follows Din Djarin and Grogu as they join misfit allies for an epic party, celebrating their heroism. As friends regale the crowd with tales of their adventures, a pirate threat looms.
Although Pedro Pascal does not reprise his role as The Mandalorian (Gavin Hammon takes over), much of the cast from the original series are back to voice LEGO versions of their characters, including Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze, Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon, Emily Swallow as The Armorer, Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand, Amy Sedaris as Peli Motto, Bill Burr as Migs Mayfeld, Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano, Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett, Timothy Olyphant as Cobb Vanth, and Taika Waititi as IG-11 / IG-12.
Carl Lumbly (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Doctor Sleep) takes over the role of Greef Karga following the passing of Carl Weathers.
Canadian voice actor Eric Bauza, meanwhile, voices Luke Skywalker. Bauza is known for voicing several Looney Tunes characters and has notable roles in Teen Titans Go!, The Adventures of Puss in Boots, and Muppet Babies.
