Never-Before-Seen ‘The Force Awakens’ Concept Unveiled

The 10th anniversary celebration of Star Wars: The Force Awakens continues with the unveiling of a number of never-before-seen pieces of concept art from the hit film.

Gold Derby revealed Doug Chiang’s designs for one of the film’s key set pieces involving Rey on Jakku. Check out the concept art below….

“The goal was to make it as epic as possible,” Chiang reflects. “I had no idea how much of this would be kept in the film, and it ultimately ended up being just a handful of shots, but I wanted to ensure that if we did this, it would have a striking payoff.”
