The cast of Joker: Folie à Deux continues to assemble ahead of its expected winter production start. After Brendan Gleeson joined the growing cast recently, now The Wrap has revealed that Catherine Keener will feature in the DC sequel.
Keener is best known for her roles in Get Out, The 40 Year Old Virgin, Capote, Being John Malkovich, and most recently The Adam Project. Similar to Gleeson’s role, Keener’s part in the Joker sequel remains a mystery.
Joker: Folie à Deux will see the return of writer/director Todd Phillips and Joaquin Phoenix reprising his role as the Clown Prince of Gotham. Phoenix will be accompanied by Lady Gaga, who will bring a new version of Harley Quinn to life.
Joker: Folie à Deux will release in theaters October 4, 2024.
