Indiana Jones 5 is less than a year away as the highly anticipated sequel is set to debut exclusively in movie theaters next June.
The film is said to be Harrison Ford’s last appearance as the iconic adventurer, over 40 years after he first played Indy in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Recently, Empire Magazine released an exclusive cover story that gave some new details on this upcoming title. As part of this new coverage, new images from the film were released.

Director James Mangold, taking the reins from Steven Spielberg, also spoke to Empire as part of their coverage and revealed a few more details about the de-aged sequence in the film. Mangold explained the filmmaking intentions of this scene, which was partially shown at this year’s D23 Expo.
“I wanted the chance to dive into this full-on George [Lucas]-and-Steven [Spielberg] old picture and give the audience an adrenaline blast.”
Indiana Jones 5 will release in theaters on June 30, 2023.
