EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: ‘The Fall Guy’ Composer Dominic Lewis Discusses the KISS-Inspired Score

By George & Josh Bate

Coming out of its premiere at SXSW 2024, The Fall Guy garnered notable praise from fans and critics. In addition to the acclaimed chemistry between leads Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt and director David Leitch’s continued success with elaborate action films, a predominant point of acclaim for The Fall Guy was the film’s innovative musical score. The score was composed by Dominic Lewis, who previously worked with director Leitch when he scored the film Bullet Train.

Dominic Lewis, whose other work includes The King’s Man and Violent Night, sat down with The HoloFiles for an exclusive interview to talk about his work on The Fall Guy, the clever usage of KISS’ “I Was Made for Lovin’ You” in the film, the ins and outs of his collaboration with director David Leitch, and more.
