A failed playwright becomes addicted to huffing perfume to evoke memories of the past. The logline for Fior Di Latte is unusual to say the least. However, those familiar with Tim Heidecker and his signature, offbeat sense of humor will likely know that such a premise is certainly within his wheelhouse. The new film, which marks the feature debut of writer/director Charlotte Ercoli, recently premiered at Tribeca Festival and was our highlight of the entire festival. Heartbreaking, heartfelt, and hilarious, Fior Di Latte couples the bizarre with the brilliant in telling a profound story of memory and nostalgia.
We recently had the opportunity to interview the stars of Fior Di Latte, Tim Heidecker and Marta Pozzan. In the interview, Heidecker and Pozzan discuss what drew them to the project, how the film fits in with Heidecker’s array of other comedic work, an interesting behind the scenes story about the casting of Kevin Kline, and more. Check out the full interview below….
