Spooky season has arrived, and so have a number of exciting new Star Wars projects. From the deluxe edition re-release of a beloved novel to a new season of an acclaimed television series, there’s something for every kind of Star Wars fan this October.
Below includes a list and descriptions of every upcoming Star Wars project releasing in September 2025. It is important to note that all of these release dates are subject to change.
October 1 – Star Wars (2025) 6
Alex Segura and Phil Noto’s latest main line comic sees Luke and Han don Clone Trooper armor! The publisher’s summary for the new issue is as follows: “New Republic on the brink of war! LUKE, HAN and VALANCE face off against a swarm of Clone War-era threats! PRINCESS LEIA plays the only card she has left against the mounting threat! RYNN ZENAT discovers a clue that sheds light on the struggles of the mysterious NAGAI!”
October 7 – Star Wars: Legacy of Vader – The Reign of Kylo Ren Vol. 1
The first six issues of Charles Soule’s Legacy of Vader comic are compiled in this new collection.
The publisher’s summary is as follows: “The shadow of Darth Vader looms large over the Star Wars galaxy, and nowhere does it reach deeper than in the mind of young Kylo Ren and the rise of the First Order!

October 7 – Star Wars: Beyond Victory – A Mixed Reality Playset
Twenty-six years after Anakin Skywalker won the Boonta Eve Classic in The Phantom Menace, Star Wars fans have the chance to immerse themselves in the world of podracing in a new adventure.
Star Wars: Beyond Victory – A Mixed Reality Playset is a new mixed reality experience built by Industrial Light & Magic for the Meta Quest 3 and 3S. The release date is set for October 7, 2025.
October 7 – Star Wars: The Blueprints: Designs and Artwork from the Skywalker Saga
An updated and expanded version of the book from the late J.W. Rinzler will release this October. Co-written by Pablo Hidalgo, the D.K. book provides technical drawings of all kinds of Star Wars spacecraft, vehicles, weapons, and technology.
October 8 – Han Solo – Hunt for the Falcon 2
Prior to The Force Awakens, Han and Chewie continue searching for their beloved Falcon.
The publisher’s summary for author Rodney Barnes’ latest comic is as follows: “HOT ON THE TRAIL OF THE FALCON! HAN SOLO and CHEWBACCA continue their search for the Falcon and face RAPTOR DROIDS along the way! DUCAIN is in for a beating when Han and Chewie find him! October 8 – Hyperspace Stories—Tides of Terror 2
The second of four issues of this Kit Fisto comic mini-series debuts this month. The publisher’s summary from the comic by George Mann, Luis Morocho, and Le Beau Underwood is as follows: “Axil Research Station is in chaos! After a massive explosion rocked the underwater base, Jedi Master Kit Fisto and his Padawan, Nahdar Vebb, try to evacuate as many people as possible. But time is running out! October 9 – The Jaws of Jakku
From author Cavan Scott and narrator Helen Sadler, this new canon audiobook debuts exclusively on Audible this October. The publisher’s summary is as follows: “Following the events of The Last Jedi, Rey struggles to let go of her lonely childhood on the desert planet of Jakku. October 14 – Star Wars: The High Republic – Fear of the Jedi (trade paperback)
All five issues of The High Republic – Fear of the Jedi + The High Republic – The Finale are compiled in this new collection.

October 14 – Star Wars Insider 234
The latest issue of Star Wars Insider features an interview with Master of Evil author Adam Christopher, a piece about Neel Nation, an all-original Revenge of the Sith short story, and more.
October 14 – Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith novelization – Deluxe Edition
Matthew Stover’s legendary novelization of Revenge of the Sith is re-released this month as part of Episode III’s 20th anniversary.

October 15 – Legacy of Vader 9
The former and current leaders of the Knights of Ren face off in this new comic.

October 21 – The Last Order
Kmame Mbalia pens this new YA novel set after the events of The Rise of Skywalker.

This new hardcover collects issues 1-12 of the Dark Horse Comics’ series Hyperspace Stories.

October 22 – Jedi Knights 8
The eighth issue of Marc Guggenheim’s Jedi Knights comic series hits shelves this month.

October 29 – Star Wars: Visions Volume 3
Volume 3 of the acclaimed anthology series hits Disney+ just in time for Halloween. This Volume sees the series return exclusively to Japan with nine new shorts, three of which serve as sequels to fan-favorites from Volume 1.
October 29 – Boba Fett — Black, White & Red 2
