Nearly 30 years after his first appearance, Maul returns to headline his very own series. But that’s not the only Star Wars project to look forward to this April as a host of The Mandalorian and Grogu tie-in books and other exciting releases are on their way.
Below includes a list and descriptions of every upcoming Star Wars project releasing in April 2026. It is important to note that all of these release dates are subject to change.
April 6 – Maul – Shadow Lord: “Chapter 1: The Dark Revenge” and “Chapter 2: Sinister Schemes”
The first two episodes of Maul – Shadow Lord premiere April 6 on Disney+. The series takes place one year after the events of Revenge of the Sith and will follow Maul as he seeks an apprentice to join his side as she seeks revenge against those who have done him wrong.
April 7 – Star Wars: Grogu Loves to Snack!

Grace Baranowski pens this fun activity book tie-in for the upcoming The Mandalorian and Grogu movie.

April 7 – Star Wars Grogu Stickers

Thunder Bay Press will also release an activity book as a tie in to the film The Mandalorian and Grogu.

Issues 6-10 of Marc Guggenheim’s Marvel Comics series are collected in this new trade paperback.
