Steven Spielberg’s Disclosure Day features a blink-and-you-miss-it cameo of an actor from Star Wars who brought a fan favorite to live-action several years ago.
Rebecca Henderson, who played Vernestra Rwoh in The Acolyte, appears for a single scene in Spielberg’s new acclaimed science fiction epic.
Henderson plays a soldier working for Wardex, the company led by Colin Firth’s Noah Scanlan that is determined to stop the world from uncovering the truth about aliens.
After Margaret uses her super-human abilities to appear as Scanlan’s wife and escape the clutches of Wardex with Kelman, she bumps into a number of soldiers. To avoid capture from them, Margaret makes herself appear as people all of these soldiers love, thus making them step aside and let Margaret and Kelman go.

In popping up in Disclosure Day, Henderson becomes one of the few actors to appear in both Star Wars and a Steven Spielberg movie. She joins the ranks of Harrison Ford, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Julian Glover, Liam Neeson, and Adam Driver, amongst others.
Rebecca Henderson has been one of The Acolyte’s most vocal supporters since the show’s unfortunate and premature cancelation. The actress, who is married to The Acolyte creator Leslye Headland, has repeatedly shared posts on Instagram championing the divisive Star Wars series and encouraging that another season be made.
More recently, Leslye Headland herself revealed to Empire Magazine that she is open to making a Season 2 of The Acolyte. Headland referenced how the opinions of Star Wars fans change over the years and, like the revisionism that has been kind to Hayden Christensen and the prequels, her show may be more positively reevaluated one day.
For now, The Acolyte fans are left to feast on crumbs of a show that, when it premiered two years ago, won over the hearts of many. One of these crumbs comes in the unlikely form of seeing the actress who brought Vernestra Rwoh into live-action appear in one of 2026’s most anticipated releases.
