Before Supergirl soars into theaters on June 26, an Intergalactic Rest Stop Tour celebrating the release of the new DC Studios film will launch in five cities, including Chicago, this month.
The Chicago event, which will take place on Tuesday June 9 at Polk Bros Park in Navy Pier starting at 1pm and closing at 7pm, will feature complimentary intergalactic snacks provided by KFC, including the Supergirl Ultimate Meal with tenders and new Supergirl-inspired sauces.
There will also be interplanetary photo ops with intergalactic creatures created by Legacy Effects, the VFX studio behind the practical effects of Supergirl.

Fans can also enjoy Galaxy Glow-Ups by Joice, featuring Heat Hero and Hold Hero for hair that channels the Kryptonian strength of Kara Zor-El.
Those who wish to dress as Supergirl or other iconic DC characters may receive custom free movie merch at the event.
Supergirl marks the second feature film in James Gunn and Peter Safran’s DC Universe, following up on last summer’s smash-hit Superman. The film from director Craig Gillespie (I, Tonya, Fright Night, Cruella) stars Milly Alcock, who reprises her role as the titular character after making a brief cameo in James Gunn’s Superman last year.
Supergirl also stars Jason Momoa as DC fan favorite character Lobo, while David Corenswet returns as the Man of Steel in the movie.
